225px (height) by 400px (width) – you can modify the height of the rows (make them taller or skinnier) and it will not disrupt the spreadsheet.
Where we put things:
Questions: Insert the questions for each round directly into their placeholders on Sheet1.
If you are using the two-player version, ONLY insert the questions into the player 1 field… suggestion – don’t use question numbers.
Replace the directions with directions that are more appropriate for your activity.
Correct Answers: type these into sheet2 starting in cell C21.
Point Values: choose the point values you want the computer and the user to earn for each of the questions. The BOLD numbers let you know the total score for each player, that way you can determine who will win and by how many points.
Protections:
Sheet2: click the checkbox in cell B20. When you do this, everything should “disappear” from sight. Highlight the columns and make them super wide. Then, highlight the rows and make them super skinny. Go to DATA → protected sheets and ranges. Choose to add protections to Sheet2. Be sure to choose “show a warning when editing this range.” Click done and then HIDE this sheet.
Sheet1: Go to DATA → protected sheets and ranges. Add protections to Sheet1 and choose the “except certain cells” box. After you click the grid, select all of the answer spaces. When finalizing the protections, choose “Show a warning when editing this range.” Then, click done.
