This interactive template includes 20 questions on cards that students will “draw” from the deck. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how students can use it.
You can grab your templates by clicking here
Draw a Question:
Students click on the deck of cards to select a question.
Answer the Question:
Students answer the question, then click the corresponding question number under “CHECK ANSWERS” to see if they answered it correctly.
Return to the Deck:
After checking the answer, students click “BACK TO THE CARDS” to return to the deck.
Score Points:
If the answer is correct, students click on the score to add points.
Discard the Card:
Click the card a second time to discard it from the pile and move on to the next question.
You can tailor the template to suit your needs by customizing:
Font Style and Sizes: Adjust the text to match your preferred fonts and sizes.
Backgrounds and Colors: Change the background and color schemes to fit your theme.
Borders and Buttons: Adjust the borders and the size of the “buttons” or “cards” to your liking.
To ensure your resource is protected from edits, follow these steps to save a protected version of your PowerPoint:
Save a Copy (this step is for both a PC or Mac):
Go to File > Save As. Consider adding “PROTECTED” to the end of the resource title to differentiate between the original and protected copies.
Add Protection (PC):
Go to File > Save As and click “More Options”.
Click “Tools” and then “General Options”.
Add a password ONLY in the “Password to Modify” box.
Choose “PowerPoint Show” under “Save as Type” to save it as a .ppsx file, which opens directly in presentation mode.
Add Protection (Mac):
Go to File > Passwords and check “require a password to modify the presentation”.
Enter and verify your new password, then click “Set Password” and “OK”.
Choose “PowerPoint Show” under the “File Format” dropdown menu and save it as a .ppsx file.
The .ppsx version will open directly in presentation mode, making it ideal for posting on TpT or assigning to students for classroom use.
For more detailed instructions on protecting your work, refer to the “Adding Protections” section, where you’ll find video tutorials for both PC and Mac users.
There is also a tutorial on listing to TPT along with a Canva template for teacher directions you can modify located in the "Uploading and Assigning Your Templates" section.
Happy creating!
